ISLATILE is a supplier of handmade Moroccan Zellige tiles produced in Fez, Morocco. We work with tile distributors, renovation contractors, hotels, restaurants and interior design studios around the world. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Our MOQ depends on the format, color and current production schedule. As a general guide, wholesale quantities start at 25 m² per color. Contact us with your required surface and colors to receive the exact MOQ and pricing for your project.
Available Formats
We supply three standard handmade formats in wholesale quantities: 5x5 cm Zellige tiles, 10x10 cm Zellige tiles and hexagonal Zellige tiles (10 x 8.5 cm). Custom formats can be discussed for large ongoing projects.
Colors
More than 50 colors are available in glazed or natural finish, including the traditional Fez palette: emerald and mint green, cobalt and sky blue, ochre yellow, terracotta, black, white and anthracite. Color samples can be sent before production.
Production
Each Zellige tile is shaped, glazed and fired by hand by Fez artisans. Because colors are mixed in real batches, variations between batches are normal — we always recommend reserving extra material for the same project.
Lead Times
Production starts after proforma confirmation and typically takes 30 to 60 days depending on volume and color mix. Large orders can be split into multiple shipments to keep your site on schedule.
Packaging
Tiles are packed in sturdy export cartons with protective separators, palletized and wrapped for sea, air or express freight. We design the packaging to minimize breakage during long international transport.
Shipping and Incoterms
We ship worldwide by sea (FOB or CIF), air freight, or express courier (UPS, DHL or FedEx). Delivery method depends on the order volume and destination. You will receive full packing and invoicing documentation with every shipment.
Samples for Professionals
Color samples are essential before any large order. We send a complimentary palette via UPS or DHL collect once you provide your courier account, or a full sample box via DHL. Request your samples.
Professional Orders and Custom Projects
We support hotel fit-outs, hospitality projects, museum works and bespoke private projects. Tell us the total surface, pattern layouts and desired tones, and we will propose a production and delivery plan tailored to your construction calendar.
Payment Terms
Orders are confirmed by proforma invoice. Standard terms are 50% with the proforma (SWIFT bank transfer) and 50% before shipment, or 100% by irrevocable confirmed letter of credit payable at our bank in Fez. All bank charges related to the L/C are borne by the buyer.
Recommended Reserve Quantities
We recommend ordering approximately 10% extra material to account for breakage, cutting and installation waste — essential for handmade tiles where patterns differ slightly between batches.
